HOW MUCH DO WE REALLY KNOW ABOUT THE FOOD WE BUY?

Tuesday September 20th
We start our season with a private screening of the documentary “Food Inc” which is directed by the Emmy Award Winning director Robert Kerner and narrated by the great food writer Michael Pollan, Kerner lifts the veil on our nation's food industry, exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that's been hidden from the American consumer with the consent of our government's regulatory agencies, USDA and FDA.

LISTEN TO ONE CHEFS OPINION

Chef Michel Nischan wears many hats, from dynamic restaurant owner, award-winning cookbook author, and media personality to food policy advocate and non-profit foundation CEO. A proponent of sustainable farming, local and regional food systems, and heritage recipes, Michel has long been a leader in the movement to honor local, pure, simple, and delicious cooking.
